Karina Tambovska
Most of my life I've been painting and drawing. In 2011, I started studying Iconography at the Latvian Christian Academy in the church art faculty.
In 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Art.
In 2016, I participated in Erasmus student exchange iconography course that took place in the island of Crete, at the Orthodox
Academy of Crete. To improve and deepen my knowledge and
skills in Iconography, I'm constantly taking lessons from icon
drawing professionals.
To me, the main value of the icon is prayer - communion with God.
